Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services -  Capital Cat Clinic is equipped to provide a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  This includes appointments for routine annual exams, senior cat examinations, and the evaluation of new or existing conditions.  For more information on our Annual Exams click on the menu at left. 

Surgical Services - Our state-of-the-art surgical suite is designed for the ability of a full variety of surgical procedures. Currently, we do not offer any major orthopedic surgeries.  Capital Cat Clinic does not offer declawing services but can offer many alternatives and advice on redirecting your cat from scratching on unwanted surfaces. 

Dentistry -  We are very proud of our extensive dental services which include teeth cleaning, polishing, full mouth digital dental X-rays, tooth extractions, and oral surgery. All of our patients are fully monitored during our dental procedures.  Because dental care is so important for cats of all ages our Veterinarians are available to answer any questions you may have.

Anesthesia - We utilize the safest  anesthetics available in the veterinary field.  In order to provide an extra margin of safety for all our patients, we utilize the most up to date equipment and monitor all patient's vital signs during any anesthetic procedure.

Radiology Services -  Our on-site X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many patients presenting problems. Other radiology services include digital dental x-rays and ultrasound. 

Laboratory - Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, and parasite testing. We also utilize specialized veterinary laboratories throughout the U.S. for specific diagnostics and consultations when necessary.

Individualized Flea Control Programs -  We can develop a program for the specific needs of your cat and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your cat.

Dietary Counseling -  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and wellness. Capital Cat Clinic carries a wide variety of diets to meet every cats needs. All the diets we carry are 100% returnable.  Therefore if your cat doen't like one flavor we will try another one until your cat is happy and eatting properly.

Behavioral Counseling - Capital Cat Clinic can provide consultations regarding the correction of problems such as spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression issues, just to name a few.

Boarding -  We provide boarding as a service to our current clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. All cats that board at Capital Cat Clinic must be current on their examinations and vaccines and have a record of a negative Feline Leukemia/FIV test. Fire and security monitoring is maintained on a 24 hour basis.
